Often I get asked about cars and how dangerous they are. Fact of the matter, yes there is a risk, but IMO the risk outweighs the rewards, quality of life and health benefits. Streets blog DC posted the following picture:
Causation, or correlation who cares, getting exercise running errands or commuting by bike has to be a win.
I’ve seen a few people post about this video including trackosaurusrex. Riding in SF can be incredible.

Soil Saloon just put out the word of a move night at Benders bar Tuesday the 24th at 8pm. Pure Sweet Hell a movie full of crazy cyclocross antics and a bar stool sounds just to good to pass up. I’ll buy a beer for the first to exclaim ”It’s bananas” in my presence.
Mike Sinyard founder and CEO of Specialized hasn’t been without the perfect bike in 30 years. But the fact of the matter he is still out there big dog style putting in the miles, hence his WRONGBIKE Hero reward.
The camera man, an employee who ask why he loves such long epic rides, Mikes reply “The reason my rides are so long is that I’m so slow.” I’m pretty sure there was a tinge of fear in the employees voice from having to endure ride after ride evolving big miles with Mike. Having ridden several times with Mike myself you I can confirm his “slowness” for in the first 30 miles, about mile 50 he picks up the pace and if your unlucky enough still be out there at mile 75 be prepared for some serious pain trying to keep up }:->
Actually I can’t let Mike off that easy, so here is a picture of him riding a water purification bike. Mike, rocking cycling jerseys and jeans are always a good choice.
